The Photo Shoot
Be Amazing!

This is your photo shoot so come ready to have some fun and be yourself.

The senior photo session is usually divided into three different styles.

1) The Parent Pleaser - Something for the Home
The first part is the photos that will please your parents. These are the portrait shots that will hang in the living room for years to come. Bring the more formal clothes for that classic look.

2) The Senior Pleaser - Something Trendy
The second part is taking the photos in the clothes you want to wear. Your colors and styles, it's all up to you. These are the styles that you enjoy and the photos you want to keep and share with your friends.

3) Something Casual - Great for Black & White Photos
Then we will do some more casual photos, both indoors and outside in the portrait park. Your everyday clothes work great for this. What ever you feel comfortable wearing.

Customize to Fit Your Personality
To personalize your photos, bring what ever props you want or think you might like to have in the photo. Like your favorite hat, musical instrument, sports equipment, car, truck, motorcycle, or even your pet. We have plenty of room so you could even bring your horse.

SENIOR PHOTO TIPS
Seniors, having your senior portrait made is like a passage rite. It is a very special event and we want you to BE AMAZING! So, we have some tips for you and your parents.

Parents, is this your first time for senior pictures, or have you been through this before? We want this to be a stress free time for you so that you can be part of an event that will lead up to an incredible appreciation for the finished product.

OK, Lets Get Started!

Seniors, soon you will be at a time in your life that you will be ready to spread your wings and fly, whether it is to go to college, get a job, join the military, or just find yourself. Your senior portrait experience should tell the world about you. You are a unique individual with your own personality, likes, and attributes. We want to capture your spirit in these images.

We will do that by first getting to know you (and your family). We want you to tell us about yourself - what are your likes and dislikes, favorite kinds of music, colors, hobbies, clothing styles, etc. We will custom design your session based on this information.

The best way to do that is to schedule a free 30 minute consultation session with us. During this time, we will also familiarize you with the entire portrait process, from the “getting to know you” time, through to the delivery of your images. If time is limited for you, we could do an abbreviated version during the first few minutes of the shooting session.

The Big Question
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Remember, we want you to BE AMAZING and the best way to do that is to be yourself. You have a style of your own! Bring your favorites. You feel the best when you are wearing what you like most, so bring it on.

But, remember these tips:
Variety is the spice of life, so bring several outfits in a variety of colors – lights, darks, bright & bold, soft. Solid colors or bold prints seem to work better than fine prints and strips. You need to bring something dressy (that’s the parent pleaser part), and some things casual and fun (that’s the senior pleaser part). You can even bring a formal dress or suit for guys to really show off. Hoodies and winter coats, even letterman jackets also tell us about you. Don’t dress for just the season we are in, because your portrait will be hanging on the wall year round. And, don’t forget accessories – sunglasses, shoes, hats, bags, jewelry, belts, jackets, etc.

What About Make Up (for the ladies)
The right make up can make or break your photos. A few tips to be aware of – stay away from bronzers and glittery shadows. Do use eye liner. Your eyes say so much about you and we want them to stand out, so you might want to use a little more eye liner than you usually do. It is also a good idea to use a good foundation and a powder. Powder will smooth out your complexion and give you a softer glow. And, don’t forget lip color - glosses are probably best.

What Else do I Need to Bring?
Again, we want your images to reflect you, so bring props that tell your story. Are you involved in sports or band? What are your hobbies? Do you have a car, motorcycle or bicycle that you want in a photo. Maybe you like to skateboard, hunt, or ride horses. If you have something special, talk to us about it and I’m sure we can figure out a way to make it work that allows you to BE AMAZING!

Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook. We are always running specials and we post images regularly. Become a friend and fan to keep up with this exciting information.
